Success can come in many different flavors, but most of the world’s greatest success stories tended to follow certain rules to help them reach their dreams.
1. They never feel the world owe’s them something
Many success stories are centered around individuals that came from nothing. A big takeaway from these individuals is they never felt the world owed them something, but instead, worked to make their goals a reality through making mistakes and finding ways to prevent themselves from making the same mistakes again in the future.
Following the previous lesson, successful people do not feel like they are owed anything, and when they fail, they get right back up and try again. Dr. Seuss had failed more than twenty times before landing his first publishing deal. Despite the constant let-down, Dr. Seuss truly believed he had something special, and he did not stop until the world knew he was right.
3. They use the past to learn from their mistakes, but they never dwell on it
Although reflecting on the past is a crucial feature of most successful people, their is a balance between using the past to learn and dwelling on it.
